A Walk In Her Shoes: Film Screening and Community Discussion

 The Harriet Tubman National Historical Park and SHM welcome documentarian Metra Lundy to Auburn, where she filmed part of her powerful A Walk In Her Shoes in 2019. Inspired by Harriet Tubman’s journeys on the Underground Railroad, Lundy recreated one, often on foot, traveling from Maryland to Canada. Her feature was the winner of the 2021 Socially Relevant Film Festival. Lundy will lead a discussion with the audience after this free public screening.
