Directions
From the New York State Thruway:
Auburn is located 8 miles south of the village of Weedsport, which is Exit 40 off the New York State Thruway, Interstate 90, approximately 25 miles west of Syracuse, and 50 miles east of Rochester. When leaving the Thruway, take Route 34 south through the village of Weedsport and continue on another 8 miles until you enter the city limits of Auburn. Route 34 becomes North Street until it crosses Genesee Street, at which it changes to South Street. After the next traffic light heading south, with City Hall to the left, the Seward House is located immediately on the right.

Auburn and Cayuga County are rich in history, scenic beauty and the arts. Consider combining your visit to Seward House with a stop at one of the other area attractions. The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, the Cayuga Museum of History and Art/Case Laboratory, The Harriet Tubman Home and the Willard Memorial Chapel.
