History's Hometown Architecture Tour: Leaves of History

Oct 15th 2016 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Larger than ever before! Get into the spirit of the season with a crisp autumnal walking tour led by museum staff from the Seward House and Cayuga Museum. Take in the foliage and take in the history as guides lead you through a winding stroll that features Auburn's downtown, historic South Street residential district, and Fort Hill Cemetery. Walkers will also enjoy taking a break at the Seward House - the tour's midway point - where complimentary cider and donuts will be served.

Learn about the architecture and history behind many of the city's most iconic homes, buildings, and properties. This tour is rain or shine and will proceed regardless of temperature, so participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and prepare appropriately in anticipation of three hours of walking through city neighborhoods.

This tour will start at the Cayuga Museum. Admission is $12 for members of the Seward House Museum or Cayuga Museum, $15 for members of the public. A $20 Combo Package includes admission to the walking tour and a voucher to tour both museums. Reservations Required, please contact the Seward House Museum for more information.
