It is said that the old Seward kitchen was one of the most popular stations of the Underground Railroad, and that many a poor slave who fled by this route to Canada carried to his grave the remembrance of its warmth and cheer.
Dinner Plates and Covered Dish

This set includes three dinner plates and a covered dish. Covered dish has two handles trimmed in gold and gold handle on top. The pattern on all pieces are colored brown and cream and depicts large cranes and flowers with leaves. Bottom Plate Mark-"Corea" in brown with small banners and impressed ivory.
